Abstract


At Inova, a prominent health system in Northern Virginia, we embarked on a futuristic exploration of the workforce landscape, studying shifts and signals that could shape the next decade. We worked on envisioning the future of behavioral health, a task that led us down multiple expansive research avenues, and diverse opportunities.

From the outset, we analyzed potential changes and their implications, setting the stage for idea development that encouraged our clients to think progressively. Despite being new to innovation, the Inova team eagerly anticipated our conceptualizations. Our Behavioral Health team generated three ideas aiming to extend the perception of Behavioral Health beyond the physical boundaries of a hospital. These concepts aimed to underline the comprehensive nature of Behavioral Health, illustrating its expansive reach to our clients.
